Job Spec for Quality Manager

We are currently looking for an individual who has worked with a UKAS accredited company, who is ready to take on the role of a Quality Manager regarding a laboratory-based environment.

  • Extensive experience operating/utilising Quality Management Software, whilst maintaining QMS standards.
  • Extensive experience dealing with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • ISO15189 or ISO22870 accreditation/approval.
  • A strict understanding and desire to follow regulatory procedures in accordance with industry regulations


Duties and Responsibilities

  • We require someone that feels comfortable in a fast-paced environment, due to the start up nature of our client and the extraordinary growth they are experiencing.
  • Monitoring performance
  • Creating compliance reports
  • Collecting feedback from other employees and clients.
  • Designing quality standards, procedures, and specifications for our client
  • Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines
  • Testing products and service to ensure that they meet quality standards before launch
  • Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
  • Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards
  • Overall responsibility for the Quality Management System 

Shift patterns should be fairly standard (09:00am-17:00pm) Monday-Friday. However, a certain amount of flexibility is needed alongside this role, as you may be expected to work a weekend day if issues within the central hub arise.
