C++ Embedded Systems Engineer.

We are searching for a C++ Embedded Systems Engineer to join a growing Research & Development department, who can work with both engineering and biotechnology teams. In this role, you will join a worldwide unique project, working on a revolutionary system for medical diagnostics POC (Point-of-Care).

Responsibilities 

• Designing new software / firmware components
• Programming microprocessors / microcontrollers
• Testing and debugging software
• Preparation of technical documentation

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Embedded Systems as Software/Firmware Engineer with C++
• Experience in software testing and debugging
• Experience in working with applications based on RTOS (i.e. FreeRTOS) on ARM based microcontrollers (preferably STM32 family)
• Good knowledge of basic communication interfaces (UART, I2C, I2S, SPI)
• Experience in software or system design
• Good familiarity with electronics and experience in using laboratory equipment (logic analyzer, oscilloscope) to troubleshoot or test embedded systems
• Good level of English both spoken and written

Additional Advantages?

• Good knowledge of C++17 and willingness to learn more
• Good understanding of low level mechanisms / things happening under the hood (interrupts, startup, bootloader)
• Good knowledge of USB, Bluetooth, WiFi
• Knowledge of some programming script language (i.e. Python)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in developing or testing medical devices
• Fluent speaking in English
