Engineering Coordinator.

Engineering Coordinator – Home Based (6 Months FTC)

Charlton Morris are working with a leading global gas supplier. Our client supplies industrial gases and services to various industries including medical, chemical, and electronic manufacturers to recruit an Engineering Coordinator.

This role is home based with the occasional requirement to cover the Asset Performance Manager during holidays or absence.

Key responsibilities of the Engineering Coordinator will be:

  • Arranging logistics plans with the haulier on a weekly basis and monitoring throughout the week
  • Ensuring KPI’s are met
  • Creating Failure records and work orders on CMMS Tools
  • Liaising with specific field engineers to ensure work order are scheduled
  • Assisting with technical items on site whilst liaising with field engineers
  • Checking and implementing compliance on stations
  • Building goo d rapport and relationship with field engineers and other stakeholders

Essential Experience Required are:

  • Degree level education in Engineering or operation discipline (Electrical / Mechanical)
  • Previous Experience in the industry; either in Engineering / Manufacturing / Operational
  • Ability to use technical knowledge in real life situation
  • Excellent communication, organisational and self-motivational skills; to be able to liaise well with field engineers, management, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills is key as this can be a fast-paced role at times
  • A strong knowledge and awareness of health and safety is paramount to work with customers and engineers effectively
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find root causes to potential issues on plants and refuelling stations
  • Excellent Customer service skills either field or phone


  • At least one years’ experience with Logistics, in some fashion with a planning tool

Working Hours:

  • Day Shift - From 0500 – 1300 Working from home
  • Full Time
  • Monday – Friday
  • 4weeks on-site training will be required when you start
