Principal Biostatistician .

Remote - United States $100,000-$150,000 Dependent on Experience

Charlton Morris are currently partnered with an innovative, mid-sized CRO based on the East Coast. The company are going through an exciting expansion into Europe, and working within new therapeutic areas.

They are currently seeking a Principal Biostatistician to support the senior leadership, and to be a “right hand man” to the VP of Programming and Statistics. Technical knowledge and skill is priority here. The right candidate can be based anywhere in the US, can be 100% remote, and will be receiving a health compensation package alongside additional benefits.   • Actively lead studies and oversees work of project team
  • Prepares statistical sections of integrated statistical and clinical reports and is primary statistical reviewer of those reports
  • Designs, develops and evaluate the technical data and infrastructure to expedite analysis
  • Contribute to study design
  • Perform statistical analysis and interpret results
  • Awareness of new and current statistical methodologies adopted within the pharma industry for analysis and reporting of clinical data
  • Develop statistical strategies in complex areas
  • Senior statistical overview for commercial studies
  • Formulate assumptions to support budgeting and forecasting
  • Spearhead standardization and documentation (including version control) of SAS programs/macros and other statistical tools


  • 10 years’ experience within the statistical aspects of clinical research
  • Advanced degree in statistics/biostatistics
  • Senior statistical overview on commercial accounts
  • Support and analysis on statistical consulting matters
  • Experience interacting with the FDA
  • Experience participating in client meetings
  • Experience working with SAS including familiarity with CDISC standards and programming requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills needed, with appropriate level of client engagement
  • Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts
  • Analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
