Marketing Specialist - EMEA.

Manchester - United Kingdom Depending on experience

Entry level ** Manchester ** Remote ** 6-month temporary contract ** Immediate start

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist who will support the Marketing Manager – EMEA to execute the marketing strategy and plans for the EMEA region.  The Marketing Assistant will be at the start of their marketing career and looking for an opportunity to demonstrate their passion, enthusiasm, and commitment for marketing in a growing, dynamic company. This is an opportunity to develop their core marketing skills while making a valuable contribution to the marketing team and organization.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the EMEA Marketing Manager and regional commercial team to develop and implement marketing plans for lead generation/ nurturing and customer engagement.
  • Assists in the organization and execution of the online and offline event schedule including user group meeting, conferences, roadshows, seminars, and webinars including engagement with third party vendors where necessary.
  • Responsible for the tracking of marketing activities in the CRM, ensuring that leads and contacts from marketing activities are captured and compliant with GDPR guidelines.
  • Liaises with global marketing team to align on messaging, brand and digital support.
  • Responsible for managing branded merchandise and printed materials for regional offices/employees and events across EMEA territory.
  • Responsible for managing the translation process with third party agencies where required.
  • Ensuring all marketing materials adhere to corporate brand and being a brand guardian across all marketing activities.
  • Supporting the EMEA organization with internally hosted events.
  • Some travel will be required.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Life Sciences or Marketing.
  • Post graduate qualification e.g., CIM a plus.
  • Previous experience working in the life sciences industry a plus.
  • Some solid marketing experience and knowledge essential.
  • Self-starter and collaborative team player willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in Adobe design suite (desirable)
  • Excellent computer skills.
