The company is constantly making breakthroughs in R&D, launching software products and advancing its own internal pipeline of small molecule therapeutics. The company is planning to start human clinical trials and nominate more preclinical candidates for a variety of diseases for novel and difficult targets. 

About the position:

They are looking for an associate director/manager to ensure that the breakthroughs are popularized but not exaggerated and communicated in a way that excites the public and focuses the attention of the young scientists on AI-powered drug discovery.

You will work in a matrix-managed team of scientists and communications professionals to announce industry partnerships, published research papers, software releases, or, most importantly, advances in the internal therapeutic asset pipeline.


The ideal candidate is a senior communications officer at a major university responsible for promotion of academic publications and preclinical and clinical results.

  • At least 10 years of experience in PR and publicist roles
  • Proven record of PR actions resulting in coverage in top media outlets 
  • Experience writing science-focused press releases
  • Native English speaker with impeccable written and spoken communication skills
  • Knowledge of EurekAlert, Altmetric, and other relevant tools for scientific communications and tracking
